Can I Run BioShock?
Pick your parts once. We compare them against the game’s published minimum and recommended specs and tell you which bar you clear.
To run BioShock you need at least Intel single-core Pentium 4 processor at 2.4GHz, 1 GB of RAM and Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 128MB RAM and Pixel Shader 3.0 (NVIDIA 6600 or better/ATI X1300 or better, excluding ATI X1550) graphics. Select your own hardware below and the tool tells you whether you clear the minimum bar, the recommended bar, or neither.

Quick answers
About this checker
Do I need to download anything?
No. The comparison runs in your browser against our hardware database. Most requirement checkers make you install a scanner; this one does not.
How accurate is this?
The requirements come straight from each game's store listing. Hardware tiers are ranked by relative performance, so a card that is close to the bar is reported as borderline rather than a confident yes.
What if my exact GPU is not listed?
Pick the closest model in the same family and generation. The tiers are broad enough that neighbouring models land in the same bucket.
Does clearing the minimum mean it will run well?
Minimum usually means around 30fps on low settings at 1080p. For a smooth 60fps you want to clear the recommended column.
