For the recommended experience you want Intel P3 or AMD Athlon/Duron >700MHz or Intel P4 > 1000MHz, 256 MB of RAM and 64 MB AGP4X DirectX 8.0 Class Hardware with VertexShaders V1.1 and PixelShaders V1.0 or better graphics.
