The Dusk has affected this world several times and is now on the verge of ruin. In the western reaches of the Land of Dusk, there exists a nation that has prospered through its use of alchemy. In order to survive the inevitable arrival of being swallowed by the Dusk, people devote efforts into rediscovering the relics of past alchemy. Research on alchemy of previous eras is conducted in a place called "Central City," with the goal to rediscover techniques in order to halt the Dusk's progression. In this small town on the outskirts called "Colseit," two alchemists whose knowledge on the old and new age of alchemy cross paths. The girl's name is Escha. Her synthesis skills with the cauldron…
