What it launched against
BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend launched on 9 October 2014, within three weeks of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Alien: Isolation, Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition and Bayonetta 2. It reviewed better than 2 of the 4. It arrived 1 year into the PlayStation 4's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
Released around the same time: Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Alien: Isolation, Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition, Bayonetta 2.
