Break of Dawn

Break of Dawn is a tower defense deckbuilder played on a hex grid. Players lead a cult holding a portal open against the New Dawn, an army that marches on it in waves. Every card in the deck places a building on the board. Tower upgrades are paid for in enemies. Kills earn Souls, and wounded enemies dragged alive into a pit earn Sacrifices, which pay for higher ranks, so players have to decide when to stop shooting. From the fourth wave, players choose one of two roads between waves, and each road adds an enemy type to the army for the rest of the act.
