Years after Sayri becomes the Guardian of Latin American Mythology, a distant call for help reaches him — a warning sent by other Guardians across the world. But before he can answer that call, his own home is attacked. As Sayri steps out of the mystical library he protects, he witnesses a world under siege: ancient myths brought to life in twisted, unnatural forms.
