The premise, in the publisher's words
Ted used to be a simple farmer, but he dreamed of more. After finishing his studies in the big city, he moves to Sunset Hills and becomes the mayor’s assistant. There, he meets Catherine — the mayor’s fiancée — and falls in love. As Ted helps build and manage the town, he uncovers the mayor’s selfish plans and must decide whether to fight for the town’s future and Catherine’s heart.
How it plays
It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are comedy, kids and romance. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

Country Tales launched on 27 August 2015, within three weeks of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Undertale, Until Dawn and Mad Max. It was a Nintendo Switch launch-window title.
