In the year 2020, North Korean forces led by General Ri-Chan Kyong seize control of the remote Lingshan Islands in the Pacific. Stationed there, a team of American civilian archaeologists led by Dr. Rosenthal sends out an urgent distress call, claiming to have unearthed a discovery that could change the world forever.
