The premise, in the publisher's words
Dawn of Fear is a survival horror with 3rd person camera that tells the story of Alex, a young man with a past marked by the tragedy. The player will have to solve puzzles, collect clues and objects, and survive avoiding the evil atmosphere that remains in the mansion to discover the real story.
How it plays
It is played from a third person perspective. Its themes are action, horror and survival. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
What it launched against
Dawn of Fear launched on 3 February 2020, within three weeks of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Dreams, Besiege and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. It arrived 7 years into the PlayStation 4's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
