What Desktop Drill is
Desktop Drill is an unreleased arcade game in development at Ivy Juice Games, currently scheduled for 7 December 2026. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only. It runs on Unity.
The premise, in the publisher's words
Every keypress fires up your drill! Desktop Drill turns your typing into a mining adventure that lives on your desktop. Blast through blocks, unearth rare resources, and unlock new drill parts as you dig deeper with every key you press.
How it plays
It is played from a side view perspective. Its themes are sandbox.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel i5 5200 or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, 1 GB RAM and Any. At 1GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
