How it was received
EA Sports FC 26 holds a critic score of 77 out of 100. That places it above 59% of the 2,882 rated simulator games in our database, which average 71. Games released in 2025 averaged 78, so it scored about average for its year.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or Intel Core i5 6600k, 8 GB RAM and AMD RX 570 or Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti. An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. It also needs around 100GB of free storage, which is a real consideration on a 512GB drive. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
What it costs, and where
Storefront pricing varies enormously by country: India is the cheapest region we track at ₹750.00 (about $7.89), while United Kingdom pays £59.99 — 10.1 times more. In Pakistan it is priced at Rs 70 on Steam, which is about $69.99.
What it launched against
EA Sports FC 26 launched on 26 September 2025, within three weeks of Battlefield 6, Ghost of Yotei, Silent Hill f and Cronos: The New Dawn. All of them reviewed better. It arrived 5 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
Released around the same time: Battlefield 6, Ghost of Yotei, Silent Hill f, Cronos: The New Dawn.
