The premise, in the publisher's words
War rages. Corruption spreads across the world, threatening to taint all things good and pure. New monsters and wicked men flock to the Imperial banner, hoping to share in the spoils of war. Despite suffering great losses, hope blooms in the hearts of those who choose to fight back.

It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player.

Faeria: Resurgence launched on 13 August 2020, within three weeks of Factorio, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, Risk of Rain 2 and Crusader Kings III. It arrived 3 years into the Nintendo Switch's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
