What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for CPU Core i3 2.5GHz, 4 GB RAM and GTX560Ti or AMD Radeon 7790 mp4 [H.264]. At 4GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. Install size is roughly 30GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
What it launched against
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD launched on 17 March 2015, within three weeks of Bloodborne, Ori and the Blind Forest, Yakuza 0 and Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. All of them reviewed better. It arrived 2 years into the PlayStation 4's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
Released around the same time: Bloodborne, Ori and the Blind Forest, Yakuza 0, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin.
