Shinchoku, Japan, Year: 2087. In the early days, our nation relied on the power and wisdom of the kami. They were worshiped for their gifts, and equally feared for their curses. Their help was indispensable for our development as a wealthy and kind land… But in time, the progress of technology became unstoppable. With the introduction of newer devices, our daily lives started to detach from the spiritual world and the goods it provided. And so, the divine abandoned our nation to its own fate.
