It is played from a side view perspective. Its themes are action, comedy, fantasy and horror. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer, Single player and Split screen.

Grave Danger launched on 19 December 2016, within three weeks of Final Fantasy XV, The Last Guardian, Darksiders Warmastered Edition and Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun. It arrived 3 years into the PlayStation 4's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
