There are 12 cheat codes for Guitar Hero II across PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360. Each code below lists the exact button combination or console command, what it does, and whether using it disables achievements.

12Air Guitar (PS2)
Your rocker's guitar will become invisible.
Tap the frets in this order on the main menu. G, R, Y, B and O are the green, red, yellow, blue and orange frets.
This is the North American (NTSC) sequence. European PAL copies use a different one.

Your rocker's guitar will become invisible.

Eyeball Head Crowd (PS2)
The crowd will have a giant eyeball as their heads.
Tap the frets in this order on the main menu. G, R, Y, B and O are the green, red, yellow, blue and orange frets.
This is the North American (NTSC) sequence. European PAL copies use a different one.

Hyper Speed (PS2)
Stretches and increases the scrolling speed of the highway and notes by 1.5x.

Makes the highway and heads-up displays (HUDs) invisible, revealing only the stage.
