The premise, in the publisher's words

Habet is a management game about running a gladiator school in Pompeii in 73 BC, with real-time arena fights. The player, a freed gladiator turned lanista, buys, trains and sells fighters, sets their terms and sends them into the amphitheatre, where bouts play out in a stylized voxel style with wounds, lost limbs and deaths. Fights range from duels to mass battles with dozens of men a side, watched by a reactive crowd.
Description from the publisher · source

How it plays

It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are action and historical. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

What you need to run it

The minimum specification calls for Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 8 GB RAM and NVIDIA GTX 1060 / AMD RX 580, 4 GB, Vulkan support. An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 1GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
