What Headshot Holdout is
Headshot Holdout is an unreleased indie game in development at Brain For Breakfast, currently scheduled for 11 November 2026. It is available on Linux and PC (Microsoft Windows). It runs on Unreal Engine 5.
The premise, in the publisher's words
The year is 1944. Death has been captured by the Nazi regime and has summoned you to destroy the undead armies to release him once and for all.
How it plays
Its themes are action and horror. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600, 8 GB RAM and GeForce GTX 1060 6GB / Radeon RX 580 8GB. An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 15GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
