Kid Icarus: Uprising is a hack and slash/beat 'em up game developed by Project Sora and released in 2012. It was published by Nintendo. It is available on Nintendo 3DS only.

Set in a world loosely inspired by Greek mythology, the story follows Pit, a young angel who serves Palutena, the Goddess of Light. When the vengeful Goddess of Darkness Medusa returns and unleashes her Underworld Army to destroy humanity, Palutena grants Pit the power of flight and sends him to stop her. Aided by Palutena's guidance and an arsenal of celestial weapons, Pit battles across the skies and lands of the mortal world, uncovering a deeper threat lurking behind Medusa's resurrection.
