What Last Rites is
Last Rites is an indie game developed by Warm Milk Games and released in 2026. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only.
The premise, in the publisher's words
You're ten years old and live with your grandparents. Father Aldous has come to read your grandmother her last rites. Now he says the house must be cleansed of sin. Stay out of sight.
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are action and horror. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Core i5-4460 / AMD FX-6300, 8 GB RAM and NVIDIA GTX 960 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280. An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 1GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
What it launched against
Last Rites launched on 30 September 2026, within three weeks of Marvel's Wolverine, Control Resonant, Silent Hill: Townfall and Valheim.
Released around the same time: Marvel's Wolverine, Control Resonant, Silent Hill: Townfall, Valheim.
