In the decaying, gothic world of Nosgoth, a land ruled by vampires and steeped in ancient corruption, this collection tells the tragic saga of Raziel. Once a proud and loyal lieutenant to the vampire lord Kain, Raziel is betrayed and cast into a swirling abyss by his own master, executed for a perceived transgression. Ages later, he is dragged back from oblivion, resurrected as a tortured, soul-devouring wraith, hollowed out and remade into something no longer quite vampire nor spirit. Consumed by a thirst for vengeance against Kain, Raziel rises through the ruins of a kingdom he no longer recognizes, hunting the master who condemned him.
