The minimum specification calls for Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+, 8 GB RAM and Nvidia® GTX 460 or AMD HD 5850 or better. An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 40GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
