NEScape! is a game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), developed and programmed by Kevin Hanley, with graphics by Jon Piornack, music by Travis Nelson, and story and puzzle consultation by Kyndal Howard. It was released in 2019. It is a mystery escape room game designed to optionally be played with the Super Nintendo mouse. In NEScape! it's you against the clock in an intense race to escape the room before time runs out! Do you have the mental fortitude to assemble the clues and connect the dots so that you might overcome the challenges and see what lies on the other side of the door?
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are mystery. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative and Single player.

NEScape! launched on 30 August 2019, within three weeks of Control, Borderlands 3, GreedFall and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (2019). It arrived 6 years into the Xbox One's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
