Out of This World is an adventure game developed by Delphine Software and released in 1993. It was published by Virgin Games. It is available on Sega Mega Drive/Genesis only.
The premise, in the publisher's words
The version of Out of This World (Another World) released for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive was ported by Interplay. This version, like the SNES port, was made more difficult, including more enemies, since it was normal for console games to be difficult in order to take longer to beat. It runs faster than the SNES port, but has less colors. A similar version would later be released for the Sega CD, with a new soundtrack, bundled alongside its sequel, Heart of the Alien.
How it plays
It is played from a side view perspective. Its themes are action and science fiction. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
