The premise, in the publisher's words
A digital translation of the popular board game. As skilled members of a disease-fighting team, you must keep four deadly diseases at bay while discovering their cures. Travel the world, treat infections, and find cures. You must work as a team to succeed. The clock is ticking as outbreaks and epidemics fuel the spreading plagues. Can you find all four cures in time? The fate of humanity is in your hands.
How it plays
It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player.

Pandemic: The Board Game launched on 3 October 2013, within three weeks of Grand Theft Auto V, Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut, The Stanley Parable and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. It was a Xbox One launch-window title.
