What Powerfuel is
Powerfuel is an unreleased indie game, currently scheduled for 13 November 2026. It was published by Accademia Italiana Videogiochi. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only.
The premise, in the publisher's words
Powerfuel is an action FPS set in a gritty dieselpunk world. Play as the legendary ex-criminal known as the Cricket, and harness the mystical properties of powerfuels. Fight your way through the gangs of New Lyon and shed light on the conspiracy plaguing the city.
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are action. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Core i7-8700K / Ryzen 7 5800X, 16 GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5700. A 16GB memory requirement is demanding — worth checking before you buy, because 8GB is still common in older and budget machines. Install size is roughly 4GB.
