Quake Champions is a 2022 first-person shooter game developed by id Software and Saber Interactive and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth main entry in the Quake series, following 2005's Quake 4. The game was first released in early access on August 22, 2017; since August 10, 2018, the game has been free-to-play. The game's full version was released on August 18, 2022.
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are action and science fiction. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Multiplayer and Single player. There are 52 achievements to unlock.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel Core i5-750 / AMD Phenom II X4-810, 8 GB RAM and Nvidia GT 730 2 GB / AMD R7 240 2 GB / Intel HD 530. An 8GB memory requirement is modest by current standards; most machines sold in the last five years clear it. Install size is roughly 35GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
