What it launched against
Retaliate launched on 15 July 2024, within three weeks of Nobody Wants to Die, Thank Goodness You're Here!, Once Human and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. All of them reviewed better. It arrived 11 years into the PlayStation 4's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
Released around the same time: Nobody Wants to Die, Thank Goodness You're Here!, Once Human, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess.
