The premise, in the publisher's words
Based on Tove Jansson's beloved Moomins, Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley casts the player as the free-spirited wanderer Snufkin, returning to the tranquil Moominvalley he calls home. He finds the once-idyllic valley spoiled and dilapidated, its natural beauty disrupted, and discovers that his dear friend Moomintroll has gone missing, taken by the game's antagonist, the officious Park Keeper. Setting out to put things right, Snufkin journeys through the valley to restore it and to rescue his kidnapped companion. True to the gentle spirit of the Moomins, his adventure unfolds without violence; instead, Snufkin relies on his music, using melodies to interact with the world and its inhabitants…
