The premise, in the publisher's words
The lights of Tokyo blot out the stars. One night, you happen to notice a star sparkling in the heavens. Suddenly, the beautiful gods of the stars appear before you. These gods, however, have sinned. They've been thrown out of heaven. You’re the only one who can erase their sins. The gods have everything... except for love. Love blooms as you spend your days together, but that love is a forbidden one, a love that could change the world.
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are drama, fantasy and romance. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

Star-Crossed Myth: The Department of Wishes launched on 29 August 2019, within three weeks of Control, Borderlands 3, GreedFall and Gears 5. It arrived 2 years into the Nintendo Switch's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
