Back up your save first
In-game chat: Money
Adds the specified gold amount via the in-game chat box
Edit your save file (%appdata%/StardewValley/Saves, open save in Notepad), set allowChatCheats from false to true, relaunch, press T and type the command; added in update 1.6.9
Back up your save first; editing the save can corrupt it
In-game chat: Teleport home

Back up your save first
Item ID name trick
Naming your character, farm, child, or animal with internal object IDs in brackets spawns those items (here: Iridium Sprinkler, Ancient Seeds, Legend) whenever an NPC says the name
Enter the bracketed IDs as part of any name field at character creation or when buying/naming an animal
PC/mobile only; partially patched in recent versions - unreliable for character names in 1.6.9 but still works reliably via animal/farm names
Spawn items by naming an animal
The same trick works on an animal name, which is easier to live with than a farmer name.
Name a barn or coop animal with the id in square brackets.
Spawn items by naming your character
Naming your farmer with an item id in square brackets makes the game spawn that item whenever the name is spoken.
Enter the name at character creation. It cannot be changed later.
The name is permanent and appears throughout the game. Most players use a mod instead.

1Galaxy Sword from desert pillars
Stand between the three pillars in the Calico Desert while holding a single Prismatic Shard to transform it into the Galaxy Sword (the dwarvish tombstone in the graveyard hints at this)
Reach the Desert via the bus (Vault bundles repaired), hold exactly one Prismatic Shard, step into the center of the pillars
Make sure only ONE shard is held - a whole stack will be consumed
Glitches & exploits
1Prismatic Shard From Animal Name Code
Naming a purchased animal '[74]' makes a Prismatic Shard appear in your inventory when Marnie finishes the animal purchase; the trick was disabled for some item IDs in later updates
Buy an animal from Marnie and name it [74]
Secrets
1Favorite thing: ConcernedApe
Entering ConcernedApe as your "favorite thing" at character creation adds bonus dialogue when you consume a Stardrop; entering anything containing "Stardew" gives the extra line "You feel an unwavering connection to the valley itself."
Type it in the "Favorite Thing" field on the character creation screen
Harmless cosmetic secret, no gameplay effect
