What Super Dude-Shooter: The Omni-Revenge is
Super Dude-Shooter: The Omni-Revenge is an indie game developed by TerminusEst13 and released in 2017. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only. It runs on GZDoom.
The premise, in the publisher's words
Originally designed for ResistJam, and then Infinity Jam after that fell apart, Super Dude-Shooter is a single-player one-level tech demo of platformers on the GZDGPL engine, using Freedoom as a base. There's also the start of a poignant story of unfair separation between a robot and his true love, and his rising up to resist against the bourgeois that's forced him into action, but we mostly cut it to make room for more dudes to shoot.
How it plays
It is played from a side view perspective. Its themes are action and comedy. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
