The premise, in the publisher's words
Ash has been falling over Veyr for as long as the chronicles reach. It settles on roofs, on roads and on the names of the dead, and it forgets nothing — while the embers beneath it go on glowing, patient and awake. Through the gates of the city of Emberwake comes a stranger the townspeople call the Wanderer. The Wanderer does not remember why they are there. The city, however, saw them coming long before they found the gates. There is no prophecy here and no chosen one. The Wanderer mines, forges, fishes, cooks and fights, builds a standing in a place that was never waiting to be saved, and eventually walks out to meet the things that stand at the edge of the ash: world bosses, weekly…
How it plays
It is played from a text perspective. Its themes are fantasy and survival. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Dual-core 2.0 GHz, 4 GB RAM and Integrated graphics. At 4GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. Install size is roughly 2GB.
