The Banner Saga 2 is an adventure game developed by Stoic and released in 2016. It was published by Versus Evil. It is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, iOS, Mac and PC (Microsoft Windows).

It is played from a side view perspective. Its themes are fantasy and historical. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. There are 55 achievements to unlock.

The Banner Saga 2 launched on 19 April 2016, within three weeks of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition, Ratchet & Clank and Don't Starve Together. It reviewed better than 1 of the 4. It arrived 3 years into the PlayStation 4's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
