"The End of History" is a sandbox-style strategy RPG set in a medieval-inspired world. As the protagonist, you leave your foster parent's home one day and embark on a journey as an unknown wanderer. In a world where the motives of numerous NPCs intertwine, and cooperation and betrayal collide, you become a part of this world and can live freely as you choose.
How it plays
It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are 4x (explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate) and sandbox. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
What it launched against
The End of History launched on 10 December 2025, within three weeks of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Routine, Kirby Air Riders and Marvel Cosmic Invasion. It arrived 5 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
