What The Journey Home is
The Journey Home is an unreleased adventure game, currently scheduled for 31 December 2026. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only.
The premise, in the publisher's words
The Journey Home is a cinematic and meditative platformer adventure set in a surreal world where you travel beyond the boundaries of time and space. Make your way through stunning and mysterious settings, solve surreal puzzles, and find answers to the life-long questions that haunt Walter.
How it plays
It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.
What you need to run it
The minimum specification calls for Intel i7, 16 GB RAM and NVidia RTX 2080. A 16GB memory requirement is demanding — worth checking before you buy, because 8GB is still common in older and budget machines. Install size is roughly 15GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
