There are 74 cheat codes for The Sims 4 across Mac and PC (Microsoft Windows). Each code below lists the exact button combination or console command, what it does, and whether using it disables achievements.
Cheat codes
231,000 Simoleons (Classic)
Adds §1,000 to the household funds (classic Sims reference)
Press Ctrl+Shift+C, type "rosebud", press Enter

Add 1000 simoleons
The smaller version of motherlode.
Open the console and type the word.
Add 50000 simoleons
Adds 50000 simoleons to the household.
Open the console with Ctrl+Shift+C and type the word.
Add satisfaction points
Adds reward points to spend in the aspiration store.
Requires testingcheats true first.
Career Promotion
Promotes the selected Sim one level in the named career (career must already be joined)
Press Ctrl+Shift+C, type "careers.promote" plus the career name (e.g. astronaut, secretagent), press Enter

Maxes out every need for all Sims in the active household

Allows fully editing a Sim in Create-a-Sim
Enter "testingcheats true" first, press Ctrl+Shift+C, type "cas.fulleditmode", press Enter, then Shift-click a Sim and select Modify in CAS

Shows hidden/debug objects in the build catalog
Open Build mode, press Ctrl+Shift+C, type "bb.showhiddenobjects", press Enter

Promotes the active sim one level in the named career.
Requires testingcheats true first.
Reset Stuck Sim
Resets a stuck or frozen Sim to a safe state
Press Ctrl+Shift+C, type "resetsim" followed by the Sim's first and last name, press Enter

Satisfaction Points
Adds the given number of satisfaction points to spend in the Rewards Store
Press Ctrl+Shift+C, type "sims.give_satisfaction_points 5000", press Enter

Set an exact amount of money
Sets household funds to the number given.
Requires testingcheats true first.
Set Household Funds
Sets the household's funds to exactly the amount entered
Press Ctrl+Shift+C, type "Money 100000", press Enter

Turn off death
Sims stop dying from any cause.
Requires testingcheats true first.
Unlock all build objects
Adds debug objects to the build catalogue.
Open the console and type the command.
Unlock Career Items
Unlocks build-mode items normally earned through careers
Open Build mode, press Ctrl+Shift+C, type "bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement", press Enter

Adds §50,000 to the household funds

Free houses
Every lot costs nothing while moving a household in.
Type this from the world map, not on a lot.
Full create-a-sim editing
Lets you change every trait and feature of an existing sim.
Requires testingcheats true, then shift-click the sim and choose Modify in CAS.
Disable Death
Turns death off entirely; use "death.toggle true" to re-enable
Press Ctrl+Shift+C, type "death.toggle false", press Enter

Auto-pay household bills
Toggles automatic bill payment for the household (true = auto-pay, false = manual)
Press Ctrl+Shift+C and type household.autopay_bills true
Use false to pay bills manually via phone or mailbox
Automatic Bill Payment
Turns automatic bill payment for the household on or off. Requires testingcheats true.

Build on any lot
Allows building on any lot, including ones normally locked (e.g. hospital, police station)

Completes the selected Sim's current aspiration goal instantly and awards matching points

Demotes the active Sim one level in the named career; can lead to firing at the bottom. Requires testingcheats true.

Disable Sim Death
Prevents Sims from dying while active (use death.toggle true to re-enable death). Requires testingcheats true.

Enable Free Build on Restricted Lots
Allows building on normally restricted/special lots
Open the cheat console (Ctrl+Shift+C on PC/Mac; all four shoulder buttons on console), type the code and press Enter
Enable testing cheats
Enables advanced/debug cheats in the current session
Press Ctrl+Shift+C to open the cheat console, type testingcheats true and press Enter
Must be re-entered every session; on console it disables trophies/achievements for that save
Fill all household needs
Fills every need/motive for all Sims in the household
Requires testingcheats true first

Fill Single Need
Fills only the named need for the active Sim; replace Hunger with Bladder, Energy, Fun, Hygiene, or Social. Requires testingcheats true.

Free real estate
Makes every residential lot free to move into
Enter while in the neighborhood/world view, not inside a household
Remember to turn it off (FreeRealEstate off) after moving in
Full CAS editing
Unlocks full Create-A-Sim editing of an existing Sim (traits, aspiration, gender, etc.)
Enter in Live Mode, then Shift+click the Sim and choose Modify in CAS

Full Edit Mode in CAS
Allows full editing of an existing Sim (name, traits, body, walk style, etc.) via Shift+Click > Modify in CAS. Requires testingcheats true.

Give Satisfaction Points
Grants the stated number of Satisfaction Points to the active Sim. Requires testingcheats true.

Grant satisfaction points
Gives the selected Sim 5000 satisfaction points to spend on reward traits
Press Ctrl+Shift+C and type sims.give_satisfaction_points followed by the amount

Instant career promotion
Promotes the Sim one rank in the given career (astronaut in this example); repeat for more ranks
Requires testingcheats true first; the Sim must already be employed in that career
Replace astronaut with any career code (e.g. painter, writer, secretagent)
List Built-In Cheat Commands
Lists the safe built-in cheat commands in the console
Open the cheat console (Ctrl+Shift+C on PC/Mac; all four shoulder buttons on console), type the code and press Enter
Max out Painting skill
Sets the selected Sim's Painting skill to level 10 (max)
Requires testingcheats true first
Replace Major_Painting with another skill code (e.g. Major_Writing) and 10 with the desired level
Modify Relationship
Adds/removes friendship between two Sims by the amount (negative lowers); use LTR_Romance_Main for romance. Requires testingcheats true.

Move objects anywhere
Removes placement restrictions so objects can overlap or sit outside lot lines
Enter in Build Mode; use the 9 and 0 keys to raise/lower held items

Lets you place objects ignoring normal placement rules; use 9/0 to raise/lower held objects

Promote in Career
Promotes the active Sim one level in the named career (e.g., careers.promote painter); Sim must have that career. Requires testingcheats true.

Remove All Buffs
Clears all moodlets/buffs from the selected Sim. Requires testingcheats true.

Remove Career
Removes the named career from the active Sim. Requires testingcheats true.
Open the cheat console (Ctrl+Shift+C on PC/Mac; all four shoulder buttons on console), type the code and press Enter
Reset a stuck Sim
Resets the named Sim and cancels all their current actions
Press Ctrl+Shift+C and type resetSim followed by the Sim's first and last name
Works on stuck or glitched Sims
Set Charisma Skill Level
Sets Charisma skill to the chosen level (1-10); same pattern works for other major_* skills. Requires testingcheats true.
Open the cheat console (Ctrl+Shift+C on PC/Mac; all four shoulder buttons on console), type the code and press Enter
Set exact household funds
Sets the household funds to exactly the number entered (100000 in this example)
Requires testingcheats true first; type money followed by the desired amount
Sets the total, does not add; e.g. money 100000 sets the balance to 100000
Set Fitness Skill Level
Sets Fitness skill to the chosen level. Requires testingcheats true.

Set Painting Skill Level
Sets Painting skill to the chosen level. Requires testingcheats true.

Unlocks hidden debug objects in the Buy/Build catalog
Type in the cheat console, then search "debug" in the Build catalog

Unlocks career-locked reward objects in Build/Buy catalog

Lets you purchase items normally locked behind career rewards in the catalog
Type in the cheat console while in Build Mode

Place objects anywhere
Removes placement restrictions in build mode.
Use the 9 and 0 keys to raise and lower objects once this is on.
Max out a skill
Sets a named skill to level 10.
Replace Major_Logic with any skill identifier, and 10 with the level you want.
