The premise, in the publisher's words
Play through the eyes of Renée, a 16-year-old girl who suffers from the symptoms of mental illness. She is searching for answers to the many questions from her past, whilst exploring the place where she spent most of her youth. Guide Renée through a dark and emotional journey where the lines between entertainment, storytelling and reality blur.
How it plays
It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are drama, horror, mystery and open world. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

The Town of Light: Deluxe Edition launched on 6 February 2020, within three weeks of Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Dreams, Besiege and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. It arrived 3 years into the Nintendo Switch's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
