What Towermouth is

Towermouth is an unreleased indie game in development at GeekZoneCouch, currently scheduled for 30 October 2026. It is available on PC (Microsoft Windows) only. It runs on Godot.

The premise, in the publisher's words

Towermouth is a roguelite action game with automatic firing, played solo or by two players in local split-screen co-op. Each player controls a puppet climbing a living tower floor by floor; the tower watches the players, talks to them and remembers how the previous run ended. Weapons fire on their own, so players move, jump and dash to position themselves while enemies swarm each floor. Clearing a floor opens its gate and offers a reward before the climb continues. Level-ups offer a choice of three cards that change the character's build, collecting five copies of one effect transforms it, and a Warden boss guards every fifth floor.
Description from the publisher · source

How it plays

It is played from a third person perspective. Its themes are action and fantasy. It supports multiplayer. Local play supports 2 players. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer, Single player and Split screen.

What you need to run it

The minimum specification calls for Quad-core 2.5 GHz (Intel Core i5-4460 / AMD FX-6300), 4 GB RAM and DirectX 12 / Vulkan 1.0 compatible GPU with 2 GB VRAM (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti / AMD Radeon RX 560). At 4GB of RAM, it will run on essentially any working PC — that is below what a budget laptop ships with today. Install size is roughly 1GB. Both tiers are compared side by side on the requirements page, and you can check your own parts against them without installing anything.
