Just keep walking left. The latest Tsugunohi returns to the series’ roots with its early visual style and atmosphere. On a sweltering summer day, a girl walks home past “righteous” people, a thread of salvation, and her mother beneath a white umbrella. Is that hand salvation—or a curse?
