It is played from a first person perspective. Its themes are horror. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component.

Welcome to Kowloon launched on 1 August 2023, within three weeks of Baldur's Gate III, Baldur's Gate III, Overwatch and Viewfinder. It arrived 3 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
