World of Goo 2

World of Goo 2 is an adventure game developed by 2D Boy and released in 2024. It was published by Tomorrow Corporation. It is available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, Linux, Mac and PC (Microsoft Windows).

It is played from a side view perspective. Its themes are comedy and sandbox. It is a single-player game with no multiplayer component. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player. There are 33 achievements to unlock.

World of Goo 2 launched on 2 August 2024, within three weeks of Black Myth: Wukong, Nobody Wants to Die, Thank Goodness You're Here! and Cat Quest III. It reviewed better than 1 of the 4. It arrived 4 years into the PlayStation 5's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
