Zamb! Redux is a mash-up of a twin stick shooter and a tower defense game. Play in couch co-op with a friend, sibling or partner as two space agents, Cye (the brawler) and Chrome (the tactician). Exterminate hordes of biomutants created by a mad scientist. Mix and match turrets, powers and traps to find your favourite play styles. When your buddy isn’t there, go solo, switch dynamically between the characters and power through challenges on your own. Now refreshed, rebalanced and enhanced!

It is played from a bird view / isometric perspective. Its themes are action and science fiction. It supports multiplayer and includes co-op. Local play supports 2 players. Available modes: Co-operative, Multiplayer and Single player.
What it launched against
Zamb! Redux launched on 30 May 2018, within three weeks of Detroit: Become Human, Detroit: Become Human, Dark Souls: Remastered and Vampyr. It arrived 5 years into the Xbox One's life, so it was built for hardware developers already knew well.
