The game tells the story of a young man who lives in the City of Doom but flees from there in fear of the troops of the Law, who want to hand him over to the court of the Wrath of the Almighty. He hears about a place known as the Kingdom of Beatitudes, ruled by the Prince of Peace, who welcomes sinners. So he sets off on his journey but finds many challenges ahead. The emissaries of the Lord of Shadows lurk every step of the way, looking for a way to lead him astray or make him give up.
