GTA 6 costs $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition in the US, £69.99 and £89.99 in the UK. Pre-orders opened on 25 June 2026 on the PlayStation Store, the Xbox Store and select retailers, for release on 19 November 2026.

Standard Edition
The game. Sold digitally, or as a download code in a box (no disc).
Ultimate Edition
The game plus the Ultimate Edition Upgrade: extra vehicles, weapons, outfits and shops that only open for Ultimate owners. Digital only - there is no boxed Ultimate.
Ultimate Edition Upgrade
Sold separately for Standard owners ($20.00 on the US Xbox Store). Boxed-copy owners can buy it after redeeming their code.

A '55 Vapid Stanier sedan and garage, outfits and hairstyles, and a weapon pattern. Comes with every pre-order or purchase before 20 November 2026, digital or boxed.
One month of GTA+
Digital pre-orders and purchases before 20 November only - not boxed copies. It works with the current GTA Online and renews automatically at the normal price.
Pakistan. There is no official GTA 6 price in Pakistan: the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store do not sell there, and Pakistan is not on Rockstar's pre-order country lists. Players in Pakistan who buy through another region's account pay that region's price. PlayStation codes are region-locked, so a boxed PS5 code has to match your account's region; Rockstar says Xbox codes are not region-locked.
Watch out for scams. There is no PC version and no early access. Any site selling either, or a "GTA 6 download", is fraudulent. Buy from the PlayStation Store, the Xbox Store or a retailer you already know.

What is the difference between the Standard and Ultimate Edition?
The Ultimate Edition adds extra vehicles, weapons, outfits and shops that only open for Ultimate owners. It is digital only. Standard owners can buy the same content later as the Ultimate Edition Upgrade.

Does the GTA 6 box have a disc?
The boxed version contains a download code, not a disc. It goes on sale from 12 November 2026 so it can pre-load too. Rockstar says plainly that a disc will not be included.
Can I cancel a GTA 6 pre-order on PlayStation?
Yes, through PlayStation Support, up to the release date - but only if the game has not started to download. PlayStation counts pre-loading as downloading, and pre-load opens on 12 November, so a console with automatic downloads switched on can lose the right to cancel that day. If you paid within the last 14 days of release, the window is 14 days from purchase.
Can I cancel a GTA 6 pre-order on Xbox?
Yes, from your Microsoft account order history, up to 10 days before the game launches. After that Xbox says you may be charged and would need to request a refund instead.
Can I cancel a boxed GTA 6 pre-order from the Rockstar Store?
Yes, through Xsolla, Rockstar Store's payment provider, but only before the order ships. Boxed copies ship from 12 November, and cancelling covers the whole order.
Can I gift GTA 6?
On Xbox, if the store page shows a "Buy as gift" option; the giver and the recipient must be in the same country. On PlayStation, the official way to give a digital game is a PlayStation Store gift card. Neither store currently says anything specific about gifting a pre-order, so check the store page first.
